Goals for the blog

I’m an sarcastic and no bullshit type of person and I intend for my blog to be raw and unbiased. I want to give those who choose to read a realistic glimpse of what it’s like to be a medical student – from posting my study schedules to how to maintain a personal life while studying 24/7 to dishing on the inevitable high school type drama that will occur between my classmates. I am completely open to any questions aspiring medical students may have for me and any advice for those who are already deep in the medical school game is welcomed.

  1. I’ll be starting my sophomore year of undergrad, and I’m so happy I found your blog. I’m still deciding if medical school is the best option for me, and I look forward to reading more of your posts!

    • My best advice is to honestly shadow and try to really immerse yourself into the culture that is medicine. I studied engineering for undergrad and I knew that going MD was for me because I felt the most natural in the hospital. I didn’t have my stuff together as a sophomore so you’re way ahead of the game if you’re preparing now. Great job girl and if you have specific questions just let me know and I can address it in a future blog!
